Heber Springs Boys Basketball Department will be hosting a Skills and Drills session for 4th - 6th grade boys. Information session and sign ups will be OCTOBER 19th at 5:30 in the Panther Den.
More information for other grades will be announced at a later time.
Homecoming Spirit Week starts tomorrow!

today from 5:00-8:00 at Olmstead’s Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Sunday at 2:00 in the Performing Arts Center at Heber Springs Schools.

Don’t forget that Senior Night for our fall sports, band, cheer, and dance team members will be TOMORROW NIGHT at Panther Stadium.
Seniors and their parents will need to be lined up at the Field House by 6:00pm so that festivities can begin by 6:20pm
Battle of the Little Red is approaching and we will be raising money for Fight Like A Kid again this year! Along with our Change for Change Fundraiser we will also be selling these shirts to commemorate the Battle of the Little Red. All of the proceeds from the sale will go to Fight Like A Kid. Clinton and Heber Springs will have the same designs but in their own school colors.

Arkansas Food Bank food boxes will be distributed TODAY (Tuesday, October 5th) at the Middle School from 4:00-5:30
Heber Springs Schools will dismiss at 1:20pm on Friday, October 22nd.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:00pm at Harps, travel down Main Street to 3rd Street, and then end with a Community Pep Rally just outside of First Baptist Church.
We hope everyone in the community can join us this day!

This year our activities that week for the Community Impact Award are as follows:
Beginning October 1 through October 28th, students/parents/donors are asked to bring any loose change or any other monetary donation to Heber Springs Schools and place their donation in their grade level container. This money will be counted on October 28th and will be donated to Fight Like A Kid to help grant a wish for a child in the Heber Springs/Clinton area currently living with cancer.
On Tuesday, October 26th and Wednesday, October 27th we will be collecting food items to STUFF THE BUS in the Heber Springs High School parking lot! This year we are designating TWO days to collect these items for members of our community. Since the timing is so close to the Holidays we want to be sure to help those in need.

The Heber Springs Schools Report to the Public that was scheduled for 5pm Monday, September 20th, has been postponed to a later date.
Monday, September 20th will be a regular monthly meeting for the Heber Springs School Board beginning at 5:30pm and will be broadcasted on YouTube.

A Heber Springs Schools school bus was involved in an accident this afternoon. Thankfully no injuries were reported and our students are safe. Thank you to those who reached out with assistance and concern.

The Heber Springs Athletic Department has learned that due to Covid issues Newport is having to cancel this Friday night's game. We are in the process of looking at other options for this Friday and will update you if something is scheduled.
