On Sunday, December 13th, the Administration at Heber Springs Schools was made aware of a positive case at Heber Springs Elementary School. The Arkansas Department of Health was contacted for further guidance, and through contact tracing by the ADH and HSSD, the individuals who were identified as probable close contacts have already been contacted. The Administration will continue to monitor this situation moving forward.
I want to thank the families of those impacted for their patience and understanding as we worked through this situation.

On Friday, December 11th, the Administration at Heber Springs Schools was made aware of positive cases in a household which had children in each school. This week we identified 5 active positive student cases and 2 active positive staff cases. The Arkansas Department of Health was contacted for further guidance, and through contact tracing by the ADH and HSSD, the individuals who were identified as probable close contacts have already been contacted. The Administration will continue to monitor this situation moving forward.

The Administration has contacted the Arkansas Department of Health for further guidance, and through contact tracing by the ADH and HSSD, the individuals who were at risk for primary exposure have already been contacted. The Administration will continue to closely monitor this situation moving forward.

|6th Grade Band Christmas Concert|
Please join us in the Performing Arts Center, TONIGHT, as the 6th grade band takes the stage to celebrate the Christmas season!
Concerts will be streamed live on the Heber Springs School District Facebook page...however, due to copyright laws concerts will not be saved online.
TONIGHT in the Panther Den...Heber Springs Panthers 7th Grade and Junior High basketball teams will host the Rose Bud Ramblers beginning at 4:30.
The students of Heber Springs High School are getting toys together for NLC’s Christmas Mall! Be sure to bring your new toy donation out to the Panther Den this week and stick around to watch our Panthers. Donations will be accepted until Friday, December 11th.

ALL Juniors at Heber Springs High School will be participating in the ASVAB test on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8th beginning at 8am in the PAC.
Remote Panthers should come for this testing if possible.
The ASVAB is not just for students planning to join the military, this test provides an interest assessment and planning tools to help young adults explore career field entry requirements and various career paths, both military and civilian. You can find more information by clicking the link below.

ATTENTION PARENTS
If you were given a hot spot and charger for Flex Friday or Virtual Day they must be turned back in on Monday so that we can do an inventory of supplies.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE STUDENTS WHO ARE REMOTE FLEX PANTHERS.
Elementary students will need to turn them in to their teachers...Middle and High School students will need to turn in to the office.
UPDATE:
Heber Springs FCA is teaming up with New Life Church to help supply items for the Christmas Mall. Bins will be located at the basketball games this week and in the High School. Items will be taken until December 11th.
